{"id":16552,"date":"2016-04-18T15:04:39","date_gmt":"2016-04-18T15:04:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mautic.org\/the-mautic-minute-choosing-the-right-form\/"},"modified":"2024-12-18T11:50:53","modified_gmt":"2024-12-18T11:50:53","slug":"the-mautic-minute-choosing-the-right-form","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mautic.org\/blog\/the-mautic-minute-choosing-the-right-form","title":{"rendered":"Choosing the Right Form For Your Campaign &#8211; A Mautic Minute"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Welcome to the\u00a0Mautic Minute!<\/h3>\n<p>This is the first in what we hope will be a long list of short tutorials on different aspects of Mautic. \u00a0Today&#8217;s tutorial answers a question I received from a user last week.<\/p>\n<p>There are two kinds of forms: \u00a0&#8220;Campaign&#8221; and &#8220;Standalone&#8221;, each with its own characteristics. \u00a0How do I know which one to use?<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Choosing the Right Form<\/h3>\n<p>Campaign forms allow you to send people straight into a campaign and be the source for that campaign.\u00a0 These can be edited even after a campaign has begun. Any\u00a0actions\u00a0you might want to perform at the time of submission, are handled by the campaign itself, and that can be limiting.<\/p>\n<p>Standalone forms can also allow you to kick-off a campaign.
