{"id":21829,"date":"2025-05-05T10:47:35","date_gmt":"2025-05-05T10:47:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mautic.org\/blog\/"},"modified":"2025-05-05T10:48:22","modified_gmt":"2025-05-05T10:48:22","slug":"open-startup-report-25-march-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mautic.org\/blog\/open-startup-report-25-march-2025","title":{"rendered":"Open Startup  Report #25 &#8211; March 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"key-points\">Key points<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We&#8217;re working hard towards financial stability, you can help us by using Mautic&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/mautic.org\/start-using-mautic\/managed-mautic\/\">hosted service <\/a>(which gives 40% of the income back to the open source project), becoming an individual or corporate <a href=\"https:\/\/mau.tc\/membership\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">member of Mautic<\/a>, or by purchasing <a href=\"https:\/\/mau.tc\/elts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Extended Long Term Support<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We&#8217;re continuing to see new contributors stepping up to support Mautic but there are many areas where we&#8217;re very short on contributors. In Q1 we had just over 15,000 Mautic instances checking in after being updated. He&#8217;s carried out releases as assistant lead, and next month will be leading his first release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve also put out a call for maintainers for the <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/mautic\/docker-mautic\/issues\/312\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Docker repository<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/mautic\/mautic-wordpress\/issues\/129\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WordPress plugin<\/a> &#8211; two important areas where we&#8217;ve not had active maintainers for several years that really need reviving. Please let me know if you&#8217;d be interested! We also have several teams who need people to step up and support various initiatives, from putting on our Mautic Conferences to writing the newsletter and helping improve our documentation.
